Most agencies match you with an assistant and disappear. At Assistry, every client is onboarded personally by the founder — someone who has spent years hiring, training and working alongside Philippine assistants in his own businesses.
I'm Daniel Pozzebon, founder of Assistry. I was born and raised in central London and I'm proudly British — and also half Filipino and half Brazilian. That mix is a large part of why this business exists.
I started my first company at sixteen, running events in London. It taught me the parts of business nobody warns you about: selling, promoting, managing people, and doing whatever needs doing when there is nobody else to hand it to. From there I moved through advertising, filming and content production, then spent around fifteen years in music — a career that took me back and forth to the Philippines, where my family is from.
That is where I first started working with virtual assistants.
I hired assistants in the Philippines to support my own businesses and trained them myself, in exactly the way I needed things done. Over several years the working relationship became one of the most valuable parts of how I operate.
Two things stood out. The quality of the work was genuinely excellent. And the cost was a fraction of what the same support would cost in the UK.
That is the gap Assistry fills. Business owners across the UK are paying full-time UK salaries for work that can be handled remotely and handled well. Not because they want to, but because nobody has made the alternative simple, safe and properly managed.
I travel back and forth to the Philippines regularly and have built a business there too. This is not a model I read about — it is one I live in, on both sides.
That is where the motivation comes from. Assistry creates good, stable, well-paid work for talented people in the Philippines, and it gives UK business owners a way to get their time back without taking on the cost and risk of a local hire. Both sides win, which is the only kind of business I am interested in building.
Started an events company as a teenager in London. Learned how to promote, sell, manage people and handle everything nobody else wanted to do.
Advertising, filming and content production across his own ventures — the practical side of running and marketing a small business.
A long career in music that took him around the world, and eventually back to the Philippines — where the idea behind Assistry began.
Hired and personally trained virtual assistants in the Philippines to support his own businesses, learning exactly what makes the working relationship succeed.
Bringing that same model to UK businesses — with the training, matching and onboarding handled properly.
When you join Assistry, I handle your onboarding personally — understanding how your business runs, matching you with the right assistant, and making sure they are integrated properly rather than simply handed over.
You get my time, my experience and my attention while your assistant settles in.
Assistry is run from central London. If you would rather sit down face to face before making a decision, I am happy to meet in person where it is practical — something most virtual assistant agencies simply cannot offer.
Otherwise, a short call or a WhatsApp conversation is usually all it takes to work out whether we can help.
